Lactobacillus gasseri is a microorganism that colonizes the gastrointestinal tract, oral cavity, and vagina in humans and has the ability to contribute potential probiotic activity.

For its part, Lactobacillus gasseri is marketed as offering specific health benefits on its own or in combination with other probiotic bacteria.
