Lactase, enzyme found in the small intestine of mammals that catalyzes the breakdown of lactose (milk sugar) into the simple sugars glucose and galactose. In humans, lactase is particularly abundant during infancy. It is a so-called brush border enzyme, produced by cells known as enterocytes that line the intestinal walls and form the brush border (a chemical barrier through which food must pass to be absorbed). Mutations in the gene that encodes lactase may result in inherited lactase deficiency, which manifests as lactose intolerance, or the inability to digest lactose. Lactose that is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract undergoes fermentation by bacteria, resulting in the production of gas and intestinal distress..
Stability
The potency of most lactase drops products in the market decreases quickly. After 5 years research, we developed unique technology that allows enzymes to retain sufficient activity during the shelf life.
Oil Leakage
Oil leakage is one of the most common problems with lactase drops products. We tested bottles from hundreds of suppliers and ultimately designed our own patented cap to ensure the product would not leak during shelf life.
Smell
Many enzyme drops products will produce unpleasant smell after a period of time. This depends on the sealing technology, the processing technology and formula of oil drops. After a long period of research and testing, our unique processing technology and formula make sure that the product does not produce odor during use.
Dripping speed
Dripping speed is a very complex matter and is related to many factors, such as the carrier & coating materials of enzyme powder, mesh size, oil viscosity, and pore size. We have to go through long-term research for each formula to ensure that the dripping speed is neither too fast nor too slow, and that every 5 to 6 drops is 0.2 ml.
Storage & Shelf Life
At least 24 months if store at room temperature, in a well-sealed package away from moisture and sunlight.
